Sunday Bike Ride in Stuttgart

After getting my mountain bike serviced, I was finally ready to take it out for a spin.  I live on a fairly steep hill, so I brought my bike on the train to check out a park downtown near the train station (Schlossgarten).  I had great weather and the park was lovely – best told with pictures.

There was a lot of uphill biking on and after this bridge.

The biking was wonderful, and makes me want to do more scenic biking, but I won’t be bringing my bike to work anytime soon.  I would have to bike all the way or not at all – bikes aren’t allowed on the trains during rush hour.

I ended my trip at the Schlossplatz in downtown Stuttgart, where I enjoyed more water, some food and wine, and a little reading.
