In a mad dash to see as many Christmas markets as possible before they close for another year, I joined my friend Alyssa amd visited two markets in France. These pictures really can’t convey how beautiful these two towns were in real life – we were in awe.
The drive from Stuttgart to Colmar took about 2.5 hours, and Riquewihr was just another 20 minutes from there. It was well worth the trip – even though I was flying to Vienna early the next morning and put off all my packing and chores until I got home. I had originally intended to get things done on Saturday, but you need to make hay while the sun shines!
